
MONDAY LUNCHTIME MINDFULNESS
12:30-1:00PM (UK TIME)
A block of four 30-minute online mindfulness sessions, plus recordings which you can revisit as you wish.
Practise in whichever way works best for you – with your camera on or off; sitting or lying down. Bring a blanket and a drink if you wish, and a curious mind. You can be sure of a warm welcome and a friendly group to practise mindfulness with. Beginners welcome!

FALL BACK: MINDFULNESS AND SOUND JOURNEY
SUNDAY 29th OCTOBER 2023, 7:30-8:45PM (UK TIME)
A gentle sound and mindfulness journey, when the clocks have ‘fallen back’ and switched to standard time and we gain an extra hour. Why not spend that extra hour nourishing your wellbeing!
A sound journey can help to restore the natural balance in your body, mind and soul by activating your body’s own natural healing process.
During the session, I will guide you through a mindful body scan, accompanied by gentle sound healing instruments, such as full moon Himalayan bowls, crystal bowls, koshi chimes and more.
You may choose to be seated in a chair or lying down on a mat on the floor. You are encouraged to experience the session in the most comfortable position for you. Please bring your own pillow or cushions to ensure your maximum comfort. Mats and blankets will be provided.
Tea and refreshments will be offered at the end of the session and are included in your ticket.
**PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SESSION (ONLY) WILL BE FILMED DISCRETELY AS PART OF MY FURTHER TRAINING TOWARDS A DIPLOMA. THIS RECORDING WILL ONLY BE SHARED WITH THE SOUND HEALING ACADEMY ASSESSORS. THE ROOM MAY BE A LITTLE BRIGHTER THAN USUAL, ALTHOUGH I WILL PROVIDE EYE PILLOWS AS NORMAL! AS A THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO PARTICIPATE, THIS SESSION IS BEING OFFERED AT A REDUCED COST AND ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO EDINBURGH FOOD PROJECT, SO YOU’LL BE HELPING THE LOCAL COMMUNITY TOO.**

NOVEMBER MINDFULNESS AND SOUND JOURNEY
SUNDAY 19th NOVEMBER 2023, 7:30-8:45PM (UK TIME)
A gentle sound and mindfulness journey, helping you to gently ease in to the upcoming season of Winter.
A sound journey can help to restore the natural balance in your body, mind and soul by activating your body’s own natural healing process. The vibrations of sound played at certain frequencies can help to reduce stress, improve concentration and focus, support the immune system, lower blood pressure and improve sleep at night.
During the session, I will guide you through a mindful body scan, accompanied by gentle sound healing instruments, such as full moon Himalayan bowls, crystal bowls, koshi chimes and more.
You may choose to be seated in a chair or lying down on a mat on the floor. You are encouraged to experience the session in the most comfortable position for you. Please bring your own pillow or cushion to ensure your maximum comfort. (You may also wish to bring a duvet or a blanket to lie on top of). Mats and blankets will be provided.

CHILL-OUT SOUND SESSION (FOR TEENS AND PARENTS)
SUNDAY 26th NOVEMBER 2023, 7:00-8:15PM (UK TIME)
An opportunity to spend time with your young person and experience a gentle sound journey together.
A sound journey can help to reduce stress, improve concentration and focus, support the immune system, lower blood pressure and improve sleep at night.
I’ll begin the session by introducing you to the different instrument sounds, then we’ll settle in with some mindful breathing, before moving on to a short sound journey with the monolini, Himalayan bowls, crystal bowls, koshi chimes and more.
At the end of the session your teen will have an opportunity to experience playing the instruments gently, if they wish to do so. I’ll also share some simple breathing and sound healing techniques for managing stress and anxiety.
You may choose to be seated in a chair or lying down on a mat on the floor. You are encouraged to experience the session in the most comfortable position for you. Teens (and adults too!) may wish to bring their own pillows and duvets for a more familiar environment. Mats and blankets will be provided.

A fun, supportive 6-week ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Training) introduction programme, which will enable you to transform from whatever may be holding you back in life and to move forwards with purpose, to experience a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

The teaching part of the sessions will be recorded, so if you can’t make it one week, you can catch up later. It’s helpful to commit to as many of the live sessions as you can, in order to gain maximum benefit from the programme. ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Training can also be very effective at helping us to move forward, following challenging times in our lives, at home, in the workplace and in sports.
